blob the Budgett's frog

eric many years ago i appeared on tv looking a fool and not wanting to be   never again i couldn't do that too embassing to do again   frogs are my passion but not worth that too much to lose if i do that   eric the frog was his name big and green it's a crying shame   he died in his tank when he was only three a gas leak killed him too much in pain (c)dawn

my famous frog   this is eric,he is a african bullfrog, he died when he was about 5 years old due to a accident at home :-(   he appeared on noels house party just before the prgramme ended in 1998   the story behind it   I wrote to the BBC asking them about one of the puppets called Fibber . The BBC rang me up after receiving my letter about offering the frog a home LOL they came to my house wanting to film  my collection of frogs and my then pet frog called Eric what i didn't expect was to have a speaking part on the show  i was so embarrassed watching it back !! i still have a copy of the program on tape, but no way am i showing it to anyone lol

Believed to have been brought to America as stow-aways on banana boats, Cuban Tree Frogs are the largest tree frogs in North America. They are notorious for cannibalism...if there are other species of frogs in the tank, or even specimens of the same species, they have been known to feast on their neighbors!
